Frequently Asked
Questions

Medisave
The Oral Care Centre is Medisave accredited, and allows you to use your Medisave funds to pay partially cover oral surgical procedures.

How to Use Medisave for Your Dental Treatment

  • Check Eligibility: To use Medisave for your dental treatment, it must meet specific criteria. Your dentist will assist in determining if your treatment qualifies for Medisave deduction.
  • Make a claim: Our clinic will help submit your Medisave claim directly to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board. This ensures that the claim is processed smoothly.
  • Payment: Payment is made upfront, and after the Medisave claim is approved, the eligible amount will be deducted directly from your Medisave account, and the clinic will reimburse the amount deducted. Any remaining balance can be paid using other payment methods.

Important Points to Note

  • Medisave can only be used by the account holder or their immediate family members (such as spouse, children, parents) for approved dental treatments.
  • Medisave claims are subject to the limits set by the CPF Board, and some treatments may not be fully covered.
  • If the treatment is not eligible for Medisave reimbursement, other payment options will be available.
CHAS
The Oral Care Centre is CHAS-accredited.

CHAS Blue, CHAS Orange, PG and MG cardholders can receive subsidies for dental care.

Please note that the dentist will need to make a clinical assessment to determine whether patients meet the CHAS claim guidelines for the dental procedure being carried out. Patients should speak with their dentists for more information.

How to Use CHAS at Our Clinic

  • Check Your CHAS Eligibility: Ensure you are registered with CHAS and meet the eligibility requirements.
  • Present Your CHAS Card: Bring your CHAS card or show your MyInfo to access the subsidies at our clinic.
  • Receive Subsidies: Depending on your CHAS tier (Blue, Orange, Merdeka or Pioneer Generation) and available limit, you will receive different subsidy amounts for your dental treatment.

Important Points to Note

  • CHAS: Available for qualifying Singapore Citizens, offering different subsidy levels based on income and age.
  • Payment: If the subsidies do not cover the full cost of treatment, the balance can be paid using other payment methods.
  • For dental procedures that involve multiple visits, such as dentures, crowns, and root canal treatments, subsidies can only be claimed once the procedure is completed. The procedure must be completed before your CHAS card expires.
