The Oral Care Centre is helmed by a multi-disciplinary team of dental specialists providing an individualised approach to solving every patient’s dental needs.

Dr Mervyn Ng graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004 from the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he received multiple academic awards during training, such as Dean’s List throughout his four years of dental training 2001-2004 , Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal (Best student throughout course of study), the FAC Oehlers Gold Medal (Best Clinical Student) and University Bronze Medal.

Post-graduate, he obtained Full commendations and Best in Anatomy in the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Primary Examination) in 2005. He went on to pursue his interest in specialty of Periodontics and obtained his Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontology from NUS, where he was also awarded the IADR Medal (Distinction in Periodontology) as well as the Membership in Restorative Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Prior to joining The OCC, he was practicing at National Dental Centre Singapore from 2004 to 2012.

Dr Mervyn Ng specialises in diagnosis, prevention and treatment of gum diseases (gingivitis and periodontitis), bleeding and receding gums, shaky teeth, bad breath using non-surgical and surgical techniques, with special interest in bone and gum grafting surgeries as well as dental implant therapy.

Dr Mervyn Ng is the first dental specialist to obtain accreditation from Dental Specialist Accreditation Board (DSAB) via rigorous assessment and exit interview. He is a fellow of Academy of Medicine Singapore and is a registered Dental Specialist in Periodontology with the Singapore Dental Council. He is also involved in the clinical training of dental undergraduates in the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS.
